Today, all of the schools in our Trust joined together for a Children in Need non-uniform day and collectively we have raised over £4,000 for this worthwhile cause.
This is one of the many House charity events our students are involved with throughout the academic year. It was great to see everyone participate and a special mention goes to all the students (and staff) who were ‘spotacular’ by coming to school wearing something bright and colourful or Children in Need themed.
To help support the event, we asked students and staff who wear non-uniform to make a minimum charitable donation of £1. Thank you to all of the families for their support as this amount will make a real difference for young people’s lives.
Children in Need fund local charities and projects who help remove barriers that are facing children and young people, so that they can thrive. They support thousands of children and young people by a whole range of disadvantages such as poverty, disability, illness, distress or trauma.
