Earn achievement points with our Coronation Celebration Challenge
To mark the historic occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III, students can choose to take part in the ‘Great Coronation Celebration Challenge’ and earn achievement points for every challenge completed.
These fun and educational activities can be completed individually or as a family and are designed to make everyone feel part of the celebrations. In addition to earning achievement points for yourself, these will go towards the House points total.
Details of all the challenges available are being sent to students this week and are rated as easy, moderate, challenging and super-challenging.
There are 20 different challenges that students can choose to complete, which are listed below:
EASY
- Plan to watch some of the Coronation ceremony
- Watch some or part of the Coronation concert
- Learn about what the role of King Charles III will involve (click here for PDF link)

- Print and decorate your own crown headband using the template or you can also design your own (click here for PDF link)
MODERATE
- Create a Coronation menu and have a celebration in your garden

CHALLENGING

- The weekend of celebrations will end with the Big Help Out on Monday 8th May 2023, which will highlight the impact of volunteering. Consider where you could help out. (click here for website link)
SUPER-CHALLENGING

- Create a time capsule to remember the Coronation in the future (you could include pictures, newspaper clippings, and any other items that remind you of the Coronation)
