First games of the Netball season for Year 7 and Year 8 teams

Both of our Year 7 and Year 8 Netball teams were in action this week as made the trip to Boston to play matches against Giles Academy.

The Year 8 team started the new season off particularly well with a resounding victory by winning 6-1. Our attacking players were particularly strong, which made a real difference in this good spirited game. All of the team performed extremely well with Lily-May Davy being awarded the Player of the Match.

For our Year 7 team, this was their first ever competitive match playing together and despite showing great teamwork in a very close game, they just lost 5-4. They have already shown that they have great promise and determination, which will stand them in good stead for the next fixture. Congratulations to Laura Krajewska who received the Player of the Match.
