The school musical for 2023 will be... Frozen JR
We are delighted to announce the school musical production for 2023 will be Frozen JR. This smash hit musical will bring music, dance and drama to Cowley Academy from Wednesday 5th July to Friday 7th July 2023 with three evening performances.
This family production will feature our amazing principal cast who will be joined by an extensive cast of students with acting, singing and dancing roles. Behind-the-scenes there will be the all-important student production crew and technical team.
Our students and staff have been busy dedicating their time after school by rehearsing every Monday and Friday in preparation for the main performances in July 2023.
Frozen JR is based on the Broadway and West End musicals and brings the magical land of Arendelle to life. When Queen Elsa accidentally sets off an eternal winter in the town of Arendelle, her younger sister Anna along with her friends Kristoff, Olaf and Sven go on a thrilling adventure to find her sister and save the kingdom.
You will not want to miss Frozen JR as it features memorable songs from the animated film plus new songs for the production and an enchanting story of magic and adventure with plenty of humour.
Tickets will be on sale in April 2023 so keep a look out for updates.
