Year 11 Art student designs the official SLAT Christmas Card

To showcase the creative talents from the Art & Design departments, this year South Lincolnshire Academies Trust commissioned one of our Art & Design students with the task of designing an original Christmas Card.

This task was eagerly accepted by Matthew Harper in Year 11 who is one of our talented art students who has dedicated his time with many extra-curricular activities to benefit the local community as well as putting the school on the map with his art achievements at the Royal Academy of Arts.

Matthew was presented with a canvas of his artwork by Mr Glenn Martin, Head of School and Miss Darragh O Callaghan, Head of Department for Art & Design at Cowley Academy.

We are extremely proud of Matthew and his contribution to the art department at Cowley Academy over the last five years. Being chosen to design a card for the entire Trust is recognition of his artistic talents and dedication to the school and local community.
