Sixth Form Induction Day prepares Year 11 for life after GCSEs

We are looking forward to welcoming hundreds of Year 11 students from Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Cowley Academy and secondary schools all across the region to the SLAT Sixth Form Induction Day on Friday 21st June 2024.

Our highly popular successful Sixth Form has had a record number of applications for new students wanting to continue their education at Bourne Academy to study A-levels and BTEC qualifications.

All students who have already applied to Sixth Form have been invited to attend the Induction Day where they will have the opportunity to attend taster sessions in their chosen subjects as well as be better prepared for when they start in September. This is also an opportunity for students to discuss their option choices with staff if they wish to change subjects.

Instead of wearing school uniform, students will be able wear their own clothing which follows the smart Sixth Form dress code on this day.
