You are invited to the Sixth Form Open Evening at Bourne Academy

We are pleased to announce that the SLAT Sixth Form Open Evening at Bourne Academy will take place on Thursday 7th November 2024 from 5.30pm to 8.00pm.

The event is available for students in Years 10 and 11 as well as parents/carers to attend.

The SLAT Sixth Form at Bourne Academy is open to students who have studied GCSEs at any secondary school in the local area, and as the Sixth Form is growing in popularity there are students applying from more schools than ever before.

There are many great reasons why students choose to study at our Sixth Form:

• Choose from three study pathways (Academic, Vocational or a combination of both)
• 23 A-level and BTEC subjects to choose from
• Students can study three or four subjects
• Consistently outstanding exam results (over the last five years, we have had a 99% pass rate in A-levels and BTECs)
• Purpose-built modern Sixth Form Centre
• PSHE and enrichment programme embedded into every timetable

At the Open Evening you will have the opportunity to meet and speak to students and staff from the wide variety of subjects on offer.

For students who are new to the school or if a parent/carer who has come on their own, there will be Sixth Formers who can help show you around.

There will be presentations by Mrs Lucy Conley, Chief Executive Officer and the first presentation will start by 5.45pm with additional presentations taking place throughout the evening.

No advance booking is required for the Open Evening. Please arrive at the main school entrance where our staff and students look forward to welcoming you. Our Open Evenings are always very busy so please allow time for car parking.
