England’s opening World Cup game projected on the big screen

Due to the World Cup game between England and Iran taking place during the school day on Monday this week, we projected the match on a large screen in the main hall so students could choose to watch the first half during lunchtime.

As England were 3-0 up at half term, everyone could return to lessons confident that we already had the win secured! It was a great atmosphere in the hall as students supported the team together.

All of the following games involving England will either take place during weekends or after school, so students won’t miss any of the next matches.
