National campaign to make a noise and stop bullying

National campaign to make a noise and stop bullying

For our PSHE programme last week, we held an Anti-Bullying Week across all schools in the Trust. This is a national campaign organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and reaches millions of young people every year.

The theme for this year was ‘Make A Noise About Bullying’ to empower students and staff to do something positive to counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes, whether it’s in school, at home, in the community or online.

We know that students and parents/carers recognise that Cowley Academy has a zero-tolerance to bullying and campaigns such as this help raise awareness and reinforce the message that it is essential to put a stop to bullying whether online or offline and everyone should feel they can get support.
