Would you like to be a Parent Governor at Cowley Academy?

Parent Governors play an important role in representing the views of parents and helping to support school improvement.

We have vacancies for two Parent Governors at Cowley Academy and we are inviting all parents/carers with children currently at the school to apply for this role.

As a Parent Governor you will join the school’s Local Advisory Board (LAB) and must be able to commit to attending three evening meetings per academic year. Depending on your expertise, you may also be involved in working with school staff and governors.

We are looking for parents/carers with different experience in areas such as Education, Local Community, Safeguarding, SEND, HR, Health & Safety, Sustainability and Governance. Ideally, you should have experience in one or two of these areas.

We are also keen for parents/carers who can represent different local communities to apply for this role.
