Flower Festival features display from Art and Design students

Art and Design students in Years 8, 9 and 10 have had their work exhibited at a local Flower Festival being held in the St Mary & the Holy Rood Church in Donington.

A special mention goes to Matthew Harper and Ella Sawkins who have worked worked incredibly hard to curate the complete display of work from our talented and highly creative students. They also organised stunning handmade lino prints that were influenced by prints and textiles designer William Morris, who was a leading figure in the British Arts and Crafts Movement.

The annual flower festival is running from Friday 28th April to Friday 5th May 2023 and after the festival has ended the student work can still be seen in the reception of the church.
