Sports uniform instils unity, teamwork, confidence and motivation

Whether it is competing against other schools across Lincolnshire or against the other schools in our Trust in our own tournaments, we want our students to feel proud to represent our school by wearing professional sports uniform.

We were therefore extremely grateful to The Cowley Endowed School Foundation who kindly donated funds to help the school purchase Netball and Football kits for our students.

The students have loved wearing the new Cowley sports kit when they are representing the school. Instead of wearing their PE kit when playing matches, they now look like a team and this have created a sense of belonging, which have given them more confidence and motivation to perform.

Every member of the team now feels equal by wearing the same sports uniform and this has certainly enhanced teamwork on the court or pitch. We have also seen more students want to be part of the school teams so it has encouraged more students to participate in team sports.

With many other improvements our school has been making with the sports facilities, such as brand-new changing rooms, extra-curricular sports activities and the sports teams, we are looking forward to a successful year ahead.
