You are invited to the Sixth Form Open Evening at Bourne Academy
We are pleased to announce that the SLAT Sixth Form Open Evening at Bourne Academy will take place on Thursday 13th November 2025 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
The event is available for students in Years 10 and 11 as well as parents/carers to attend.
The SLAT Sixth Form at Bourne Academy is open to students who have studied GCSEs at any secondary school in the local area, and as the Sixth Form is growing in popularity there are students applying from more schools than ever before.
There are many great reasons why students choose to study at our Sixth Form:
- Choose from three study pathways (Academic, Vocational or a combination of both)
- 23 A-level and BTEC subjects to choose from
- Students can study three or four subjects
- Consistently outstanding exam results (over the last six years, we have had a 99% pass rate in A-levels and BTECs)

At the Open Evening you will have the opportunity to meet and speak to students and staff from the wide variety of subjects on offer.
For students who are new to the school or if a parent/carer who has come on their own, there will be Sixth Formers who can help show you around.
There will be presentations by Mrs Jemma Curson and Mr James Hind, and the first presentation will start by 6.00pm with additional presentations taking place throughout the evening.
As this event will be incredibly busy, you can register in advance using the link below for fast track entry. This will save you time on the evening and make it quicker to enter. You only need to register for the student attending (guests do not need to register).
On the evening, please arrive at the main school entrance where our staff and students look forward to welcoming you. Our Open Evenings are always very busy so please allow time for car parking.
